Runway ML is a great tool for bring an artist's own 2D images to life well without the need to animate them fully by hand for previs work!
I wanted to tell the story of a virtual model called Mina using a 2.5D Digital Illustration I created some time ago using Blender and Photoshop. The setting is in a cyberpunk universe, so neon lights and advertisements are everywhere. I generated the audio using the Generate Audio tool for the voice, then used royalty free music and combined the two.
All videos were generated using Gen-4 Turbo. I considered using Gen 3-Alpha Turbo because of the additional control options such as Camera Control, Expand Video and Act One, but stuck to Gen 4 to experiment and see what I could do with my prompts for camera movement.
